Help answer this question below.

In previous elections wedge issues were used to divide the country and get people to vote on single issues . They are still being used, what effect are they having?

    I don't think they're having as much effect. People are starting to look at the whole picture, not just one or two issues.

    • Thanks for taking time to answer. I agree with you , there's a shopping list of problems that we're facing and I believe people are looking for the candidate that can deliver the most.

    • It's bad news for McCain/Palin. They've been counting on using abortion and/or gay marriage to get themselves elected.
