That's great if we are talking about remains that date to 3,0000 B.C. The remains found in burial mounds date from 1000B.C.-400 A.D.
They are described as having "archaic" attributes that include a heavy brow ridge, sloping forehead and massive jaws. This is more descriptive of Cro-Magnon. Cro-Magnon remains have been found that were 6 to nearly 7 feet in length.
A better evolutionary sequence to Cro-Magnon would be from: Homo ergaster (2 mill. B.C) who was tall to Homo erectus to Homo heidelbergensis ( also tall) to Cro-Magnon.
