I have been told that the Catholic church has a teaching section in the back of the Bible and that they have removed the second commandment and split the 10th into two parts. Is this true?

For the commandment part, this is already been asked and answered.

For the teaching section, which publisher and version of the Bible are you talking about? Not all Bibles are the same, even within the same translation. I have many versions of both Catholic and Protestant bibles, and I don't have any with anything but concordances and maps. I woudn't be surprised if there were a Bible with explanations and scriptural references to Church teachings, but I can't generalize about that. The Church recognizes at least ten different translations, and some are public domain, so knowing which version and publisher is being referenced to check this out would be helpful.

    • Please, don't generalized all Catholics. Whoever had done this, they don't represent me.
