Help answer this question below.

What is the best type of air freshener (NOT spray or candles) that actually works AND you can smell pretty good? I have wasted so much money buying plugins that you can barely smell. Incense were messier but seemed to work better. Any suggestions?

    I know you said the incense you tried was messy, but the particular kind I use is very clean. You can buy it in small bottles, that come with little incense plates (called a burn plate) attached to the bottle. The incense is in the shape of a small cone (smaller than my pinkie). You light the tip of the cone and let it sit until the flame goes out. The cone will smoke for about an hour, and it stays intact. Not a bit falls off. Very clean, and easy to handle. The brand is called "Elegant Expressions," (which is only visible on the barcode on the bottom of the bottle) and I found it at my local Wal-Mart in the isle where the candles were located.

    There are also devices you can use to melt a candle. The candle gives off the smell, but there is no flame and smoke. You can also buy these candle melters in the same isle I found the incense in. You can use any candle that comes in a glass container. Just plug in the candle melter and set the candle on it.
