A man gave a woman his phone number and she responded that she would not call him. Then two months later he became engaged to another woman. What is going on in his mind?

    Thank you for your question.

    While it is difficult to say with certainty what another person is thinking, the most likely scenario was that he fell in love with his now fiance and asked her to marry her. I do not know what the status of the relationship was when he offered this other woman his phone number so I cannot offer further comment.
