Question

Help answer this question below.

I think I'm depressed. I don't sleep well, I've gained weight, and I cry a lot. The problem is, my parents know what's going on, but refuse to do anything about it. They don't believe in anything like that. There's no one at school. What should I do?

    • Yeah, so it is probably just hormones, and it might be a passing phase.

    • Anon, It could be hormones but it may not be. PLEASE see a doctor just to make sure. If it is depression he or she might want to put you on a medication just for a short time. The main thing is your sleep. You NEED to have a regular sleep pattern. No-one can function properly without one. That is the first thing the doctor will address. As I said to you in my answer, if you need to talk personally, please let me know. I will try to help you as much as I can. Hang in there.
