Can the Sony PSP be attacked by viruses while online?

    Possibly. It depends on what you're doing. It's highly unlikely that you'll catch a virus while playing an online game. That could only happen if something really big went wrong. However, if you're using a browser to surf the Internet, it's conceivable that a site could use a possible problem on the PSP (such as a buffer overflow) to install unwanted software such as a virus on your console.

    However, it should be noted that this is purely theoretical, and as of now, no such case is known. The trojan mentioned in the other post can't install itself, so as long as you don't download anything onto your PSP, you should be save.
