What's the biggest leap you've taken in life and failed miserably?

    Gave up a reasonably well paying job and a comfortable (not extravagant!) life to open a Gift Shop. It was something I'd always wanted to do. I worked 7 days a week, sunk every cent we had into it, won awards for it, and six years later gave up, having never made enough to draw any sort of a wage and most of the time not even enough to cover expenses. Financially my husband and I will probably never recover, as I used funds from his business to prop the shop up so after 20 years of truck driving I dragged him down with me. Fortunately our house and car is paid for or we would have lost them too.
