In the case of a consensual relationship between an adult and child, has a convicted child molester (teacher, etc.) ever resumed the sexual relationship with their "victim" after prison? Have they been married?

    Yes, my sister was 14, and the man she was involved with was 34...The laws weren't as strict back then, so he was never apprehended, although the police were all over my sister for being a runaway, on probation. So the police would actually go to his house in the middle of the night and pick my sister up, but they never arrested him-which highly infuriated my mother.

    Nonetheless, in answer to your question, yes...my sister got pregnant at 16 from this man...she then appeared in court & told the judge she was pregnant...the judge emancipated her, and upon her 18th birthday she marriedthe man....They are still married to this day...she is 39 & he is 59...Their daughter incidentally is what, 22 now...
