Question

Help answer this question below.

My boyfriend and I baptised our daughter Catholic, at his insistance. I believe that at the baptism we both promised to raise her in Faith together. He has since started attending a Baptist Church. I have strong feelings against this religion. Any ideas?

I think you and your boyfriend should keep your promises, especially those made freely and in the presence of God.

If you two cannot keep this promise then will you be able to keep your marriage vows also made freely and in the presence of God.

You might also want to learn a bit more about the Catholic Church. Bishop Fulton Sheen once said, "There are not over a hundred people who hate the Roman Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church"

    With love in Christ.
