To vex is to antagonize, and the opposite of that would be to comfort.
Audacity is akin to boldness, so I believe meekness or humility would suffice there.
Refrain's antonym would be to persist.
Whenever I need to check a spelling of a word or to find a synonym of a word, I go to the start menu, click microsoft word, type the word, do a right click, check synonyms, and oftentimes antonyms will be listed. Just saying!
