My kids deserve the world for christmas! However, they never ask for anything. Why? Because I have come through some rough shit lately and they are mature enough to see that I just can't afford toys and xtra's I wish I could. Their dad left us homeless and in a struggle for life. I have finished school, working FT and have a home for them. I am NOT on welfare even though raising 6 kids and so for that we struggle to make the food stretch. They know that life can be rough but they also know the STRONG survive....and we are a very strong family. We plan on putting up a tree and preparing a nice family dinner. Sitting down all together and talking about how great of a future we are going to have if we just keep moving foward. Gifts are a wonderful token to give but some of us don't have that option. The only gift I can give them is a mother that loves my children more than anything or anyone and show them that through hard work and affection. I hope to not depress you. It is just a hard truth, not all kids share there wants with there parents because they know that would cause undo strain and heartache on the parent. I vow to one day give my kids a christmas that they can have wonderful gifts to unwrap. Shelly
