In Indiana, is it legal to ask an applicant's age or DOB on an employment application?

    Yes. But is not legal for them to use that information against you when considering you for employment. However, I have personally seen descrimination on the basis of age. That is illegal. Asking age and DOB is required in most cases for verifying other pertinent information. Anyone can abuse it though. You would have to prove that age was the factor in descrimination, however. Tough to do.
