I wish I had an answer for that, but it's a good question. Have some points.

    • Why answer if you have no answer?

    • Because I wanted to credit him for asking a very good question with no obvious answer (at least not one that is obvious to me).
Why worry about things that don't effect you? I wasn't fishing; no-one had answered, and I wanted to give the guy a pat on the back.

    • i was thinking about this while I was putting some ketchup on my fries at work today. I realized it didn't make much sense, considering mustard usually is packaged in opaque bottles, while ketchup almost always come in clear bottles. It's driving me nuts!

    • "Why worry about things that don't affect you?" What are you talking about? You mean I should just shut up and stick to my little corner? Here's a question: Why not just answer the question? If you wanted to rate him up, that's great. But why waste room in the clearly marked "Answer" area with what should be put into a comment box?

    • Because, d!ckhead, there is NO comment box when there are no answers.

And no, I don't think you should stay in your corner, but I would think that you would understand the spirit of my non-answer in light of the fact that at the time, no others were posted.

    • I understand that there isn't a comment box before answers are posted. But you know that it will eventually get an answer. You could've commented then. BTW, it's a pity that you came out swinging when you could've just acted civil and answered my questions.

    • Click on "unanswered questions" and count for me how many there are. And I did NOT come out swinging... I asked a (theorheticlly) rhetorical question, that you chose to swing AT.

    • Read those unanswered questions and you can see why they are unanswered. This question had no chance of being unanswered. And that was not a rhetorical question. And I'm not the one who is taking offense and cursing.

    • Considering that neither of the other answers are fact based, although the one about being able to "see" what it will taste like makes sense, I disagree with you completely. Sorry, I just do. And that should be the end of this, because if you're going to contest my right to disagree, I will not respond any further. See you out on the field next time.

    • Ummm, I wrote that answer. But I agree, we're getting nowhere. Cheers.

    • Yes, cheers. Didn't mean to deprive you credit where credit is due, but I tend to look more at the answer than the source.
