Why would a Bunn coffee maker leak water from the bottom?

    The leak may actually be at the top. When mine did that, I discovered that the plastic piece which guides the water into the tank had deteriorated where they are fastened together. Then when I checked in with Bunn for the part, I found out that there was a repair kit which fixed it rather easily. It was either free or cost very little, and is designed to be installed without disassemling the coffe maker. Hope yours is that simple!

    There's a stcker on the bottom of the coffeemaker with a code number you'll need when you call or visit their website. Go ahead and find it and write it down first.
