Following Einstein's theory of relativity, can we travel back in time if we managed to travel faster than light?

    You would travel forward in time at the speed of light (or lower, see below). To travel backward in time would likely require use of a wormhole or black hole, and, of course, you could not travel back further than the time that the vehicle (the wormhole, a time maching, a DeLorean) you rode on was created. Physics also theoretically allows for time travel to the past using speeds faster than the speed of light.     You can actually travel forward in time (relative to someone on Earth) at any speed. SEE: Time Dilation ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dilation )
