When your goldfish died, did you bury it or flushed it down the toilet?

    When I was small, I had a goldfish called Frankie and my sister had one called Freddie. Frankie died while I was away at my grans, and my parents flushed him down the toilet and bought a new one to fool me. They found one that was the same colour but a lot bigger, and when I got back they told me that Frankie had been really pigging out while I was away because he missed me and that was why he was so much bigger. And, sadly, I believed them.

    A few months later my sister and I were fighting and she shouted out 'that fish isn't Frankie, we flushed Frankie down the toilet!'

    I still carry the scars...
