Do you and your s/o speak the same language? If not, did you try to learn theirs? Or were they suppose to learn yours?

Chez moi c'est la tour de Babel. Mon pere a eu des affaires aux Chili, en Suisse, en France, en Italie, en Argentine et aux Etats-Unis, alors je suis habites de petit aux plusiers pays. J'ai deux filles nee au Montreal, une fille adoptee du Liban, les trois deja femmes; et une fille adoptee du Bresil, plus un garcon et une fille nee aux Etats-Unis, encore enfants. Une de mes filles reste en Allemagne avec son copain, une en Espagne, l'autre a N. Jersey. Ma soeur plus jeune a reste en Italie. Ma femme est de famille francaise mais nee aux Chili. Pendent l'ete, quand on est parfois tous ensemble, le langue que nous entendons depends de qui parle avec qui: anglais, espagnol, francais, portugais, allemand et parfois l'italien!
