You're reading Jesus said "the father is greater than I" doesn't this prove that the trinity is not a blble teaching?
Comments
The WORD trinity is MAN MADE. The DESCRIPTION of the word Trinity can be found in the Bible. MANY MANY places.
Just because MAN gave it a NAME (trinity) does NOT mean that the WORD lies in its description.

please tell me how Jesus described or explained the trinity?

I and My Father are ONE. To know Me is to know My Father. These quotes have been stated time and time again but to each their own in THEIR interpretation. However, the focus on the word trinity not being in the Bible is a trite argument in my opinion as this is just a word to describe as all things are given words to describe them and their meaning. He lived among us in flesh. I think also too many people see God as flesh when He is not. He gave life to the flesh of Jesus (who WAS flesh) whom he dwelled in here among us AS A MAN. Jesus was cruxified but the spirit of God CANNOT be defeated.. just flesh. The flesh died.. not the spirit which is our Creator. So they cannot grasp the idea of God in flesh apart from one who reigns in heaven. I see people ask how He could be in heaven AND walk the earth. Being One being. but..... HE IS ALMIGHTY. We cannot as mere dust grasp that as He states to us our knowledge is not His knowledge. It is One spirit and it lived in the flesh of a man. The Bible clearly states to pray to Jesus Christ our Savior yet people still pray to God/Jehovah. So yes, things are easily taken out of context. Do I think those who support the belief of One are any better than those who do not? Absolutely not. He says to know the truth and turn away from it having known it is the greatest sin. Not knowing everything, is not. So I think all that seek Him, will find Him. He is not like us.. judgemental, hateful and angry. He is love and will not cast away those who think differently if He knows their hearts seek Him. He does not judge as we do. Thank GOD for that!

jacfar: I disagree with some of what you said about words not appearing in the Bible being not right for us to use on Biblical things. It is true that the word "Trinity" does not appear in the Bible. Correct me if I am wrong, but the word "Bible" doesn't appear in the Bible either, but we use "Bible", meaning "Book of books", to describe the Word of God. I believe that the King James Bible is God's infallible Word and nothing else. But, I also believe that the Trinity is a Biblical teaching, even though not a Biblical term or word.

You’re numpties for even arguing about this, it is clear if you read the bible that the doctrine of the Trinity is biblical it may be confusing and beyond our understanding but that’s God. Just like the doctrine of predestination is confusing, you may find yourselves asking how can the NT bang on about predestination but yet the word also “I desire none to perish” that makes little sense. Arguing about these sorts of things is futile these are truly mysteries of God but God is not a mean God he is a loving God and has given us a way of finding out the answers to these great mysteries, ““I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:2-3 NRSV) fancy discussing anything in more detail email me at joshuabdark@gmail.com.

I don't think that God likes all of that confusion. Jesus very plainly stated who the only true God was and he counted himself separate from the only true God.
(John 16:25) “I have spoken these things to YOU in comparisons. The hour is coming when I will speak to YOU no more in comparisons, but I will report to YOU with plainness concerning the Father.
(John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
(1Cor 14:33) KJV "For God is not the author of confusion..."
