Help answer this question below.

I don't get the stereotype that all black people love fried chicken and watermelon. Can someone explain?

    food stereotypes of African Americans are just strange in this day and age. Many people still propagate the stuff though. Remember when Tiger Woods won the Masters and one of the players made some reference to the victory dinner being fried chicken. Not funny at all.
    I Love fried chick and I like watermelon. I like collard greens too, and that's also something I've heard reference as a 'black' food.

    • I've tried making collard greens myself, and I've had collard greens prepared by black members of our church. I definitely do NOT know how to do it properly! It's delicious when you know what you're doing.
