Are vitamins a good way to stay healthy?

    i agree for the most part with the other members who have answered, but there are cases where vitamins are needed. Transplant, HIV, AIDS people are an example. Vitamin D is an absolute because they cannot go into the sun light for very long because of immune supresion. Vitamin D (from sunlight) makes calcium work. If the calcium isn't working it gets flushed out of your system, therefore a need for calcium vitamins. Also other elementals may be lost so a multi-vitamin is prescribed. Now remember these are prescribed by specialists. I u are feeling tiered, distracted all the time, sick, sharp pains (with out injury), ect. then see a doctor, get blood work done u maybe low on some thing, & it maybe a simple of eating more of some thing, or maybe getting a multi-vitamin on top of eating well. I do have a break down of what you should look for in a multi-vitamin as well as what the major vitamins do,if you want it just ask, i'll keep my list handy.
