You're reading Why do people who are completely ignorant of Islam hate it so much?

On the contrary, Muslims are taught to respect every both Jews and Christians. We are not ignorant or intolerant. It says in the Qu'ran that we should never stop gaining knowledge. You are wrong, as most people are on this thread.

Yes but you'll always have the extremists and intolerant people (not saying they are one and the same) in ANY religious group.
I mean, you can't tell me every single Muslim respects everyone else. The same can be said for any other religion. :>

No, I cannot say that every Muslim has respect for everyone else. Only good Muslims. lol

Theby Ann Hill says'We are not ignorant or intolerant'. Why Theby do you insist talking for all muslims? You are just a beginner in this whole sharade. In reply to your statement, I would tell you to be careful when you classify yourself with all muslims. Your husband and his friends may be educated. However, in the muslim world there are still people who believe the world is flat and that children born to 'non-believers' are formed in a different way to muslim children.

Not all is hunky dory in 'paradise'. Perhaps if you took the time to travel you may see and live some of the harsh realities that you obviously have no idea of at present. On AB you have a voice, but that is not the case for the majority of women in the muslim world. What you quote in theory has no basis in reality I'm afraid. Travel, experience and then talk as if you are an authority, but not before.
