Is there a way to find out if a person served in the United States armed forces?

    There is a way, but you probably have to be a spouse or a family member for this information. the social security office has this information, but good luck on receiving it. also, the veterans administration is loaded with info.. they all will ask the questions, of who, what, when, where, and of course why? the paperwork involved in unbelievable! good luck.
