    Jesus christ died on the cross to save us from all of our sins.

    • No.  He suffered to pay for our sins.  He died and was resurrected to overcome death, so that all of us may do likewise.

    • he sacrificed himself to convince himself to forgive us for the sins we comitted against him? Thats retarded! Why not just say; "Ok, you're forgiven." Besides, if he was resurrected then it was not a sacrifice. Sacrifice is forever, not just for three days.

    • How would He be a just, good, and holy God if He forgave us without our sins being paid for? Can a judge just let you go if you owe a $50,000 fine in court just because you said you were sorry? Jesus had to die for our sins in order to atone for them.
