People always say they don't care when something bad about them is being said, but nobody complains when something good is being said; if they really didn't care, wouldn't they not care about any of the positive things just as much as the bad?

    Ideally, the only way to truly not care what people think about you is jus that, an ideal. In order to not be bothered by criticism you aren't supposed to be flattered by praise.
