Have you ever been knocked unconscious? What do you remember about the experience?

I fell and went unconscious when I was pregnant at the bus stop and I don't remember falling or being unconscious all I remember is people standing around me saying are you okay and I was having a conversation with these same people before I fell down.

The word "faint" has attained a negative connotation somewhere it clearly did not used to have: some WW1 fighter pilots talked of fainting from a shot to their head-in other words it simply meant going unconscious.
