You can't just "become" a freemason. You have to be asked! Among other things...

    • Actually I have access to their petition which I would need to start the process. This isn't just a random question.

    • No Mason will ever ask a man to join, we are not allowed to. Any man seeking membership must approach us of his own free will, without coersion of any kind.

    • We have bumper stickers that say "To be one, ask one" We can't ask anyone to join, we can't suggest that they ask us to join. All we can do is put ourselves in public view and hope that prospective members view us favorably.
