Acting ability is related to one's ability to memorize dialog and one's ability to get into character. Successful actors go into "character" and lose themselves in the character. I've encountered performers that are very shy and socially inhibited, yet they can go on stage and be somebody else without flinching. Without running a survey, this can only be a guess... my guess is that individual sexuality and acting ability are not related. Most acting roles have very little to do with sex. In the movies, actors don't even have to perform the sex scenes, they can usually be performed by models.
