I had a friend who had a DUI charge 27 years earlier who was coming to Canada with his girlfriend to visit my wife and I. When they checked him at the border they found the DUI and refused to allow him in. This was in 2002.
The Salem/Boston ferry runs from Memorial to Halloween day, is there any other way like water taxis that can be taken off season?

He thought so as well but when they checked him out they found it. He never had another one since. They wouldn't let him in so if they check you out they will most likely find it and not let you in...DUI is a felony in the states not in Canada. It is the felony conviction that kept him out.
