Wow - fascinating list - as you do exactly what I said - select across any genre or decade. Edith Piaf has to be one of my all-time favorites. I don't think there are any slackers on this list of yours! I don't know what I was thinking, but I "discovered" Harry Connick Jr after he had been recording for a long while. Thanks, Str8man.

Edith Piaf honestly gives me goosebumps when I hear her sing, particularly "La Vie en Rose" Harry Connick Jr crosses many Genre's of music and does them all well. He's pretty amazing.
