Is it true that you can;t join the military if you have a mental disease?

    i don't know the answer, but i do know that i wouldn't want to put a gun in the hands of a mentally ill person (only referring to people who refuse to take meds.)

    • Well I am on medication, so why would it matter it I had a gun or not, I'm just like anyone else when I'm taking my meds.

    • sorry.. i didnt mean to offend.. i was mostly reffering to the people who refuse to take meds and are psyco..

    • PTSD is extremely common in the military, and it's quite often treatable without meds. your response?
