It's really a myth that the Guiness Book of World Records is the most stolen.

An ALA Survey said books on the occult, how to car repair, and sex advice books are stolen most often.

    • Aha ... perhaps in just the U.S. this is true ... but I am referring to all libraries in all countries globally, and the Guiness Book of World Records, in many languages, in many countries, is by far the book most stolen.

    • Ehhh, I googled. Only websites I saw with that answer were joke/trivia websites with no sourcing.

    • I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. I can see how people who are totally into those things would definitely want to keep literature about them.
