    • The answer to the question depends on how fast you wish to drive. Energy draw from a battery is quadrupled when the speed doubles. I have tested my Prius and at 9 mph, you can drive around 2 miles before depleting the battery.
      I have installed a button for "battery only" mode. The engine kicks in at 34mph. So at 20mph, you may travel 1/4 mile depending on terrain. If you are going uphill, you may not make it.
