On the old TV series, what was it about Lois Lane that the "Man of Steel" found appealing?

    The Man of Steel was lucky to find such an enchanting woman, and working right there at the Daily Planet no less! Who wouldn't be attraced to Lois Lane, star reporter? She was so adorable in those stylish cocktail hats and skirts that showed a flirty half-calf.

    Lois was the seminal working girl, certainly an inspiration for a generation Helen Gurley Browns. Intellectually, she ran circles around Clark Kent, Jimmy Olson, and that bufoon Perry ("The Chief") White.

    There was a lot of sexual tension coursing beneath the friendly rivalry between Lois and Clark. When Clark winked at Lois, wow did sparks fly! The faint resemblance between Clark and the Man of Steel made Lois tingle sometimes. One time when Clark thought no one was looking, he cleaned his glasses. Lois saw it and almost fainted! He looked so much like Superman!

    In one episode, we got to see Lois's fantasies about being Mrs. Superman. Superman was everything Clark wasn't. The Man of Steel found it endearing that Lois seemed afraid to confess her suspicion that he was leading a double life. She had worked hard to build her image as a streetwise star reporter. She didn't want Clark/Man of Steel to know she indulged in such whimsical notions.

    We didn't see Clark's fantasies about Lois. The man of steel has no time for fantasies. One time, however, he caught himself thinking about what Lois would look like in a bathing suit.
