Is it true that a man marries the most attractive woman he can afford, while a woman marries the wealthiest man she can attract?

    False. I dumped my ex-husband (a complete control freak) who made $600 a week for a man who truly loves me, and is a starving artist type that lives on practically nothing. We have been married over a year, and I have never been happier.

    I think that question is a vague generalization focusing on stereotypes brought up by a bad experience in the past of the person asking that question. Fact: Women aren't always in it for the money, and men aren't always in it for the sex.
