Christians, do you think it pleases God when some of you downrate others just for asking questions about your religion? Does it demonstrate the positive effect Christianity has on people, or give people a bad feeling about Christians?

I definetly believe that it makes us Christians look like snooty self righteous pricks....What is so wrong about asking questions? Isn't that the purpose of not only this site, but also, in a major way, our life?

    • I find this question odd. It is an assumption that it was a Christian who rated them down. You have no way of knowing who rated you down.

    • LOL Well rarely do people leave comments when they are downrating. :)

    • I don't know that it's Christians, I did say "some" but I only seem to see this automatic downrating with no comments, when the question involves Christianity. It could be Satanists trying to give Christians a bad name for all I know. I just wondered if any Christians actually thought it would please God.

    • I believe it does not please God, in the least

    • LOL Well then, I think the answer is probably....God doesn't care. :)

    • I wasn't trying to contribute to a religious debate of sorts, I was simply expressing what I believe to be true

    • Oh no, don't think that is what is going on. We are not having a debate about religion at all. Everything is fine. We are just talking about trolls really. There is no tension here on my part. :)

    • Contrary to popular opinion, pagans (who are often accused of being Satanists by narrow-minded Christians) are more interested in following their own path (which usually involves allowing others to follow their own personal path) than in insulting others' personal choices...

    • Although i suppose it's more common for pixies/leprechauns/fairies to be pagan than trolls... i'm not too conversant on religion of trolls.. lol
