Why is it that so many of the non-denominational churches have preachers who are schooled Baptists? (I see this in TX) Is there a problem with being Baptist or going to a Baptist church?

My personal opinion is that right now, Baptists are getting a bad rap. The world does not like the name Baptist nor want to be associated with us. There are a lot of baptist churches changing their names to community church, or christian center to get more people in the pews, but they still teach Baptist doctrines for the most part. Personally I think that is deceptive, and I would not want to be part of it. I am proud of the heritage of the Baptist church, and don't understand why anyone would reject it in name only, trying to camoflage themselves.
