Help answer this question below.

One of my mother's all time favorite sayings is "God never gives us more than we can handle". I also hear it from others. If this is true, why do people commit suicide every day? Didn't they get more than they could handle?

    • God can help you through a lot. He helped me through depression. I should say he helps me through depression.

    • My mother was the most Yahweh-fearing-and-loving woman on the planet, even on the day she committed suicide. She had post-pardum depression.

    • Well she should have seeked help from that. I mean if I ever went back to considering suicide again I'd go get help. But sometimes asking for help is a tough thing to do. My apologizes on the loss of your mother. Oh and I sent you an e-mail.
