Help answer this question below.

Brits and canadians, why don't we get together with a special relationship! brits hate americans and really like canadians, and we are friends anyway, so why not! wouldn't that be great.

    Did I miss a memo? I thought Brits and Canucks already had a special relationship. I find it that way in the Navy, at least. Back in '79 the British ship in the NATO fleet (old Leander Class Frigate) and my ship (even older Improved St. Laurent Class Destroyer Escort) had a friendly rivalry.

    In one port they made off with our ships bell and after several hours of good natured ribbing (and drinking) they returned it with no bad feelings on either ships company's part.

    When we left port the next day, I was as shocked as any when it was revealed that some cad had painted a twenty-foot tall beaver on the side of the Kipper ship's hull. Our CO was not amused.
