You're reading Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ died twice, once in Europe, and another time in America?
Comments
BTW, the area around Palestine is considered to be part of Asia, not Europe.

Having owned and read the Book of Mormon, and having lived in mormon country while having this exact principle explainjed to me a thousand times, the mormon religion states that christ did not die on the cross and was not ressurected.

That's completely wrong, Anonymous.

I'm a little confused. John 10:16 says, "And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd."
I get the connection but it doesn't necessarily say that he went to the Americas after his resurrection.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I just really don't understand the logic. Could you explain a little more?

ProudPugParent, http://scriptures.lds.org/en/3_ne/15/11-24#21 . If you want to know more about this, then I would suggest that you post it as a separate question. Anonymous, you obviously were either fed a lot of misinformation or you did not understand what you were told. Jesus' suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, His death on the cross, and his resurrections were probably the most important events in the history of humanity. It was only through these acts on His part that we are able to receive a remission of our sins and be resurrected ourselves.

It's not a question I wanted to ask everyone. It's a question I was asking YOU. But, that's ok... I don't want to know that badly. And besides, that little link you posted didn't take me anywhere. It said URL not found. Thanks anyway for your time.

Sometimes, AnswerBag puts an erroneous space in links. In the case of the link I provided the space seems to appear "/3 _ne/". Simply copy the entire address into the address bar of your browser and then remove the space. Or you can click on this link (http://tinyurl.com/y7f44l). This will take you to the verses in the Book of Mormon where Jesus explains the verse in John that Anonymous references.
