I like taking pictures of myself with trees at night. I call them "Nightshots With Trees." This one was taken just one and a half weeks ago, on July 9, 2008. Trees have a certain mystical aura about them.

    • I guess you could say I am----I took the photo when all my neighbours were fast asleep! LOL.

It's a larch. It's still a baby, planted by me and my daughter only two years ago when it was only a foot or so high. It is now more than ten feet tall.

Chris, if you click on the picture, you will be able to see another tree behind me-----it's a sugar maple tree----Canada's national symbol.

    • I saw it, it seems you have a nice yard for them to grow in!

    • Well, you can see I take care of my trees, but not my dried up, brown lawn. LOL.

    • By the way, my wife and I are planning to have another child this year. When our next child is born, I shall plant another tree in the yard. Heh,heh.

    • Well, we've been at it for a month now----we're crossing our fingers. It seems harder this time round than with our first two daughters five-seven years ago. I don't know why.

    • Maybe youre trying too hard...
Keep it cool, if there is a lot of pressure,
I personally believe, that could have adverse effects...
such as... little guys go crazy, and dont hit the target...
Just me, I have no proof...

    • Hey, mr., great pic. Have you tried sitting under a banyun tree? I have heard it can work miracles...(smile).

    • I took a picture with an ancient banyun tree in Hong Kong two years ago. I wasn't sitting under it, however. So far, it hasn't brought me and my wife any luck. Lol.

    • Chris, I love your analogy "little guys go crazy, and don't hit the target". That is so funny. I always thought I had to wait a few days so that I build up enough arsenal for my little guys to attack the target effectively. Now my doctor told me that I shouldn't wait too long (more than 4 days) before I release the "little guys". :(

    • Those little swimmers should be tappin' the target every other day for peak performance...mrshinyshoes :)
