Do you think 10 sexual partners (intercourse only, not counting a few other encounters) is excessive for a 26 year old man?

I think you are at the national average. I have heard 10 for men and 5 for women.

How is that possible? Either the men or women are lying.

for their averages to differ one must have more gay encounters than the other or drasticaly higher number of individuals. but I guess if you only count those within standard deviation the few (like my sister) who test 14 men and still haven't found the father would be deleted from the equasion allowing more variance.

I think most people are lying and there is only about three people in the country who've actually had sex before marraige. I'm 17 and judging from the amount guys in my class, who could still barely at girls, one's ever getting laid. However if you ask them they all have wide and varied sex lifes.
