Why do you comment or respond to trolls on AB? Why not ignore them and flag thier posts as SPAM/OFFENSIVE?

I don't comment to them or respond to them directly, but I do let them know their efforts are futile and that we are onto their malicious actions. If they like hearing that over and over agian, and if they enjoy running into a wall of disapointment, I say let them revel in their discord and idiocracy. To others I say, if you value your credibility, you should abstain from trolling maliciously.

I am new to AB and lately have been seeing posts/questions about Trolls.

Is everyone aware that AB's official policy concerning trolls is to completely ignore them and their attempts to cause chaos on AB? That's right - just flag anything you see and don't answer or comment.

If i wrote an offensive question would you ignore it or respond to it and why?(And no, i'm not going to write an offensive question.)

Can we all please abide by AB policy on trolls by flagging their offensive submissions and then ignoring them? Trolls thrive on attention - even negative attention.

I flag a "question" offensive, but the tag is "spam/offensive" and when I continue it says something like "Do you want to flag this as spam?" Does it get flagged as spam or spam/offensive? Will a mod know or care?
