Help answer this question below.

Given that Jesus had to die to atone for human sin, why has Judas got a bad rap? Surely he should be lauded as a hero?

    You know... I kind of agree with you. If Judas didn't kill Jesus, then Christianity might not exist.

    • Judas did not have to betray Jesus in order for Jesus to die. The truth is, all he did was make it easier to find Jesus.

    • So if one of your friends betrayed you so that you are sitting on death row for a crime you didn't commit....would you say: 'oh well. Even if you knew that you were going to be wrongfully accused and end up in jail anyway, would this fact make what your friend did o.k.?

    • Christianity already existed before Jesus died...He established Christianity while he was on earth.
