How can I rotate a video? Tried Windows Movie Maker but it quits on two different computers each time I try to rotate. Don't really want to buy a software.
Thx!

    Hello...

Virtualdub is a free and opensource and highly regarded program for manipulating .avi files and other files.

You can get a copy directly from their site or through download.com, do not get it elsewhere if you want to ensure no spyware etc.

    Release build -- 1.6.17 (stable), 32-bit version

This is the current release of VirtualDub for end users, containing the executable and supporting files. Unzip the contents into a new folder and run VirtualDub.exe. (Do not run it directly from the zip file!)

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.6.17.zip?download

The sourceforge download is the most up to date version of the program..

Run virtualdub and choose file->open and choose your .avi file
Go to 'Tools'->Filter choose Add and choose rotate2
Input how much you wish to rotate by
    OK
Now under video choose 'Direct Stream' and under Audio choose 'Direct Stream'
Under file choose Save as .avi (give it a new name)

    You're done.
