Help answer this question below.

My 1991 Ford Explorer has push buttons for 4-wheel drive and Low range. But neither is activating when I push the buttons. Actually nothing happens. What could be wrong? Should it be in gear? What else could I check or do?

    you have to be in N and press down on the brake pedal while you push the 4x4 Low button.
