What you are feeding him now will kill him eventually. The way to fix this issue is to feed him an excellent quality dry food, put it down for 30 minuites (ONLY) twice a day with fresh water available all day, and he will eat. be strong!

As long as you leave the same amount of feed each day does it matter if i leave it available all day...?

The idea for removing the food bowl is from a pet behaviorist friend of mine. She says that dogs who are reluctant eaters will be more likely to eat if they know that the food will be available for a limited time each day. You can adjust the time or frequency to suit your needs or anxiety level, but she recommends the twice a day 30 minute stretch.
