You're reading DEATH PENALTY- Most states say that executions are too expensive and that is why the criminals stay on death row so long. Do you think that we should make executions "PAY PER VIEW" to cover the cost and give the left over money to the families?

The founding fathers used public executions. In fact, we have had public executions up until 1936. If the Supreme Court is to do there job and look at legislative intent, how could they possibly conclude that public executions is cruel and unusual?

Besides, the purpose of the public executions was to increase the deterent affect of the punishment.
