My boyfriend and I broke up 2 months ago and has cut off all contact with me. Why do men do this?

Being a man myself I have been in this situation and its simply about wanting to move on and sever the attachment. If you have split up and the relationship has ended, zero contact is generally the only option there is.
On the other hand it could be a "power thing". If the woman gave him no opportunity to resolve the relationship he may well feel rejected and do it to drive the nail home that over means over. Hope that helps.
