Almost all stuffed toy manufacturers refer to their products with some form of superlative. Softest and cuddliest are common terms. In our store we try to help our customers sort out between the main attributes of stuffed animals so that they can find the perfect stuffed animal for them.

Over the years we have settled on 5 key attributes. The "Feel" of a stuffed animal is really determined by 2 factors, the surface texture, and the firmness of the internal stuffing. We rate all our stuffed toys on the StuffedZoo "Squeeze-o-Meter" scale for firmness and the "Fuzz-o-Meter" scale for surface texture. Our "Squeeze-o-Meter" definition is here: http://www.stuffedzoo.com/Stuffed-Animal-Squeeze-o-Meter-sp-11.html and our "Fuzz-o-Meter" definition is here: http://www.stuffedzoo.com/Fuzz-o-Meter-sp-12.html
